DJ Workforce is a specialist in vehicle security installation and operates across some of the UK’s largest commercial fleet vehicles. After a run of quick growth, they had multiple internal systems which created an inefficient job allocation process and an inability to track job completion with a customer sign off, causing a headache for their expanding team of field engineers.
Imobiosft’s Coventry based solutions team were engaged to define a digital platform that would remove legacy systems with a bespoke software application wrapped around the organisation’s specific challenges.
An AI-engine to take care of operational friction:
The Imobisoft & DJ Workforce teams landed on an end to end workflow system with built-in artificial intelligence.
With hundreds of jobs being delivered to the business, the platform automated the scheduling of projects to engineers with suitable skillsets or geographically. Via mobile or tablet, the engineer could complete a pre and post job check, with photographic evidence of completion sent directly to the client. Identification of system functionality made for reduced administration, automatic storage of job details and quicker invoicing time.
The migration from 3 alternate systems meant that internal teams needed a transition period that included training and onboarding. Beyond passing over the system Imobisoft offered a weekly training session for people unsure on platform use as well as extensive documentation for internal teams.
